Birthday Gift #2

If you know me (KNOW me), you know I’m a rather big fan of John Mayer. A lot of folks have a rather poor perspective of him due to things his done or said that have been spotlighted by the media in an effort to make him seem like an asshole. I won’t rehash the past but I will say that he’s not anything like he’s been portrayed. I know this because I’ve followed him and his music long enough to catch a glimpse of his heart. And I can say with utmost certainty that the man has an amazingly huge and kind heart.

This shows particularly in his efforts to support our Veterans. I was fortunate enough to be a part of John’s efforts this past year. I was able to volunteer my time before a concert and spread the word about John’s latest project (http://johnmayer.com/veterans-support) and get people in the know about the importance of not only supporting our Vets, but ensuring that they get the best care possible, whether it be mentally, physically, emotionally, etc.

For my second birthday wish, I want to continue with this. I’d like for 10 off my friends, whom haven’t already, to check out the link above and share it! Sign up for the newsletter and jump on the bandwagon of supporting our veterans. Don’t do it for me or for my love for JM; do it because those Vets have done something for you. You’re merely paying it forward. :)

Thanks guys!
